Nuclear Engineering | 2022

Destiny is a senior planning to graduate with a major in Nuclear Engineering and a minor in Political Science. She is from Indianapolis, Indiana, where she lives with her parents and dog, Rhody. She is the president and founder of the student org Minorities in Nuclear Engineering and Sciences, the treasurer for The Purdue American Nuclear Society student branch, and an undergraduate researcher under Dr. Jason Harris studying nuclear security culture. Her ultimate career aspiration is to work with the International Atomic Energy Agency as a safeguards inspector.

When not working with Purdue Foundation Student Board or her other activities, Destiny enjoys rollerblading, playing video games, and cooking. She feels that putting a face and voice to the direct impact donors have on the school is an important mission, and is excited to play a role in doing so.
