Food Science | 2022
Rio is a senior from Tokyo, Japan, majoring in Food Science with a minor in Fermentation. Outside of his involvement as a marketing committee member in the Purdue Foundation Student Board, he likes to do MMA and is the Vice President External for the Japan Student Association.
In his free time, Rio enjoys spending time with his friends and family, cooking, and singing. In the future, Rio hopes to work in R&D as a Food Scientist who develops innovative products. This year in PFSB, he looks forward to continue educating Purdue students about the importance of private giving through launching different marketing campaigns with the Marketing Committee.
