Diya Patel

Diya is a third-year student in the PharmD program. She is from Kisumu, Kenya and is a first-generation boilermaker. Along with involvement with Purdue Foundation Student Board, Diya is a mentor for pre-pharmacy students, co-chair of American Heart Association Philanthropy with the Purdue Student Society of Health-System Pharmacists (PSSHP),

member of American Pharmacists Association Academy of Student Pharmacists (APHA-ASP), member of the Industry Pharmacists Organization (IPhO). Upon graduation, Diya wishes to do a fellowship and have a career in the pharmaceutical industry. 

 

In her free time, Diya enjoys spending time with her friends and family, cooking, spending time in nature and playing badminton. Diya is grateful to have got to attend Purdue and be a boilermaker as it has given her the opportunity to grow and meet other passionate individuals that inspire her every day. Diya is excited to continue learning about private giving and looks forward to giving back to Purdue.
