Kourtney Otte

Agricultural Education and Agricultural Economics | 2026

Seymour, Indiana

Recruitment and Outreach Committee

Kourtney Otte is a Sophomore studying Agricultural Education and Agricultural Economics while also minoring in Political Science and Environmental Politics and Policy. Growing up in Seymour, IN, she enjoyed engaging with her community and finding every way to give back. She continues to give back to the Purdue Community through her involvement in Alpha Omicron Pi, and the Purdue Agricultural Council. Outside of class, she conducts research with Jordan Meyer and Dr. Liu as well as Dr. Ford. She is also involved in countless clubs across campus.

In her free time, Kourtney enjoys wandering through Von’s to find her next favorite book and making memories with her friends. She is often finding a new spontaneous adventure to go on, and taking too many pictures in the process. Kourtney aspires to bridge the gap between policymakers and those being impacted by them. PFSB allows Kourtney to further her self-discovery and find new ways to give back to a community that has already given her so much.
