Russ is a Senior from Westchester, New York pursing two degrees through Purdue’s Degree+ Program. One degree is in Biochemistry and the other in Science Communication.
Outside of his involvement as the Purdue Foundation Student Board (PFSB) Student Organizations Alumni Relations (SOAR) Director he serves as the Vice President of Administration for the Barbara Cook Chapter of Mortar Board. He served as the President of Purdue Grand Prix Foundation from 2021-2022. This year he is serving as an undergraduate research assistant within Agricultural and Biological Engineering and a Lab Teaching Assistant for Biology 205. He has also served as an Old Masters Host and is currently a Promotional Officer. Russ is an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and works for the Purdue University Fire Department as the Purdue Emergency Medical Technician (PEMT) Director. During Russ's underclassman years he served as a Team Leader and Team Supervisor for Boiler Gold Rush (BGR).
In the future, Russ hopes to advance to Medical School and pursue a career in emergency medicine focusing on supporting the emergency services community.
