Samantha Kempel is a senior double majoring in Accounting and Finance through the Daniels School of Business. With additional minors in Food & Agribusiness Management and Farm Management through the College of Agriculture. She is originally from a small town in the Northwest corner of Illinois. Outside of PFSB, Sam has also been actively involved in the School of Management Employers Forum, the Agribusiness Club, and the AFA Leaders Conference. She also works as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for CS 235. This upcoming year, Sam will serve on the Old Masters Central Committee as one of the Day Co-Chairs. Previously, she has served on the Purdue Alumni Student Association Board of Directors, as an Ambassador for the Brock-Wilson Center for Women in Management, and was a member of the Women in Business Club.
Due to her strong agriculture roots, outside of campus involvement, Sam can always be found wandering around the farm and hanging out with her family’s cattle. One of her favorite pastime activities is spending hours walking through corn fields and pastures. She is very excited to continue her PFSB journey and continue to work alongside the Philanthropy committee.
