Sofia Aveledo

Sofia is a junior majoring in Nutrition & Dietetics, with plans to attend Physician Assistant (PA) school in the future. Originally from Houston, Texas, she has also lived abroad in Singapore and Romania. This year, Sofia is thrilled to serve as a first-year member of the Purdue Foundation Student Board and contribute to the Diversity and Inclusion committee. She is also actively involved in Delta Delta Delta Women’s Sorority, the Nutrition Society, and the Purdue University Dance Marathon – Logistics Committee.

Beyond Purdue, Sofia enjoys adventurous travels with her family and playing her lifelong sport, tennis. As a proud Boilermaker, she looks forward to furthering her philanthropic work and making a positive impact on those around her. Sofia is excited to work alongside her talented peers and help drive the Diversity and Inclusion committee’s success in the year ahead!
