Keya is a junior studying Chemistry at Purdue University. She conducts research in the Kenttämaa Laboratory, focusing on gas-phase ion–molecule reactions to better understand drug metabolites. At Purdue, Keya is actively involved in the Women in Science Program and the Purdue Science Student Council, where she helps organize events and supports fellow students in STEM. Through these experiences, she has developed strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills while fostering a passion for helping others and building meaningful connections within her community.
In her free time, Keya enjoys reading, hiking, and traveling. She loves learning about new cultures and gaining fresh perspectives from the people and places she encounters. These experiences inspire her curiosity, personal growth, and approach to science.
