Annual Weekend in Naples, Florida

Some executive members had the special opportunity 

to travel with the Purdue for Life Foundation to the Annual Weekend in Naples, Florida. They had the incredible opportunity to meet with alumni, participate on panels, and assist with various events.

Why Give Initiative

Our spring Why Give events included trivia, candy grams for valentines, free hot chocolate, and donuts. A special thank you to everyone who swung by one of our tabling throughout the month of February.

Boilermaker Ball

PFSB traveled back to the 80s and danced the night away at Boilermaker Ball in Indianapolis, Indiana. Our members had the opportunity to attend a President's Council event and enjoy a night on the dance floor.

Basketball Game Social

Kicking back our semester into gear, we attended the Purdue vs. Northwestern game as a family! Our members had a great time cheering on the Boilermakers as they finished the evening with an overtime win!

Holiday Party

To cap of the season, we held our annual Holiday Party and celebrated a successful end to the fall semester. Filled with holiday cheer, we decorated cookies and held a white elephant gift exchange.

Distinguished and Named Professorship Ceremony

Purdue Foundation Student Board students helped with registration, assist with set-up for the event, and heard from Purdue Faculty driving innovation on campus!

Nursing and Pharmacy Building Groundbreaking

Members of PFSB helped out at the new Nursing and Pharmacy Building Groundbreaking. They helped with registration, set-up, and assisting with refreshments.

Basketball Social

We spent one of our weekly meetings at the Purdue vs. Grace College exhibition game. Besides working President Council events and tabling for the Why Give Initiative, we like to have fun too!

Why Give Initiative

During this fall semester, PFSB extended the duration of the Why Give Initiative from one week to an entire month. Our members engaged in strategic campus-wide tabling activities, sharing about the importance of private giving and philanthropy. This year's themes included Boilermaker Special Train Rides, Scholarships, Dunks for Donations and Donuts, Next Giant Leap, and Skip a Starbucks Day.

Ohio State Tailgate

Our PFSB members have been busy working each Purdue Football tailgate this season! They mainly assist with registration, welcoming alumni and donors, and help with set-up for the main event!

President's Council Homecoming Tailgate

Purdue Foundation Student Board students worked the Homecoming Tailgate for President's Council. They interacted with donors, helped with registration, and got a special visit from Purdue Pete!

Annual Dinner

Another flashback to Homecoming Week with our incredible PFSB members! This time we are highlighting the President’s Council Annual Dinner celebration where members assisted with registration, networked with alumni, and attended dinner festivities.

New Member Retreat

Purdue Foundation Student Board held our annual Retreat to kick-start the year and welcome our new members. Highlights included welcoming speaker Lance Connolly, competing in a campus scavenger hunt, and getting to know each other better.
