Evan Coblentz

Animal Science | 2025

North Webster, Indiana

Evan Coblentz is a Sophomore studying Animal Sciences with a pre-veterinary concentration and a minor in Spanish for the Professions. Hailing from North Webster, IN, he grew up in a rural community and loved using his strengths and talents to serve others. Between theater FFA, 4-H, and Student Council, Evan threw himself into any organization he felt he could add value to. Since coming to Purdue, Evan began riding for the Purdue Equestrian Team and joined the Dairy Club. He is an Honors and a College of Agriculture Dean’s Scholar and will be serving as a mentor for first-year Honors students starting this Fall.

 

In his free time, Evan loves scouting out the best sushi spots and going on coffee runs with the people he loves. He will gladly talk to you about his family’s dogs and show you photos of his baby goats in sweaters. Evan desires to attend medical school and work in Reproductive Endocrinology to use his skills and talents to work with families that desire to have children. Evan loves sharing his firsthand experiences with seeing philanthropy in action and working on donor and alumni initiatives. He is ecstatic to begin his work with PFSB and strive for excellence while upholding our core values.
