Lucas is a Junior from Portland, Indiana seeking a major in Agricultural Education. Additionally, he is complimenting his degree with two minors. One in Crop Science, and the other in Farm Management. Outside of his role as the Vice-President of Philanthropy, he also serves as the Indiana Association of Agricultural Educators (IAAE) President. Additionally, he is serving as an Agricultural Sciences Education and Communications (ASEC) Department Ambassador and a Purdue University Teach Agriculture Ambassador. In the past, he served on the Purdue Grand Prix Race 66 & 67 Junior Board in Alumni Relations from 2022-2024. Lucas is also a member of Agricultural Future of America Leadership Conference where he served as a leadership delegate in 2022 and 2023. While staying involved, Lucas works for Purdue University in the Office of Admissions as a Call Center Ambassador.
In the future, Lucas hopes to enter into a high school classroom and pursue a agricultural teaching career. He also hopes to land a job near home so he can return back to his family's row crop farm and manage the operations while teaching agriculture.
