Lucas is a sophomore from Portland, Indiana seeking a major in Agricultural Education. Additionally, he is complimenting his degree with two minors. One in Crop Science, and the other in Farm Management. Outside of Purdue Foundation Student Board as a Philanthropy Committee Member he serves as the Indiana Association of Agricultural Educators (IAAE) Vice-President of Campus Relations. He also is serving as an Agricultural Sciences Education and Communications (ASEC) Department Ambassador. In the past, he served as the Purdue Grand Prix Race 66 Junior Board in Alumni Relations from 2022-2023. Lucas is also a member of Agricultural Future of America Leadership Conference where he served as a leadership delegate in 2022. While staying involved, Lucas works for Purdue University in the Office of Admissions as a Call Center Ambassador.

 

In the future, Lucas hopes to enter into the classroom and pursue a agricultural teaching career. He also hopes to land a job near home so he can return back to his family's row crop farm and manage the operations while teaching agriculture.
