Diversity and Inclusion Committee

Yasmin Pirbhai is a Sophomore studying Nutrition Science with plans of going to medical school after graduation. For as long as she can remember, Yasmin has been actively involved in her community through regular volunteering, developing fundraisers, and taking on leadership positions. This passion did not falter when she came to Purdue; she is currently the Fundraising Chair of the Purdue Equestrian Team, serves as the Vice President of Purdue University Blood Initiatives, is an Ambassador for the College of Health and Human Sciences, and works as a Resident Assistant in First Street Towers.

When not in the classroom or working in her research lab, you probably can find Yasmin at the gym, the barn, or hanging out with her friends. She is very passionate about living a healthy lifestyle and becoming as strong as she can both physically and mentally. Yasmin also loves to read, travel, eat good food, and generally live her life to the fullest. As a member of PFSB, Yasmin is excited to continue developing her leadership skills, meet more people who are as passionate as her, and work to make Purdue a more giving community.
