Kathryn Adams is a sophomore from La Grange Park, Illinois, pursuing a degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences. With aspirations to earn a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Kathryn is deeply committed to her academic and professional growth. This year, Kathryn is honored to serve as a first-year member of the Purdue Foundation Student Board, where she contributes to the Marketing and Communications Committee. She is passionate about fostering connections between students and alumni and is excited to promote philanthropy within the Purdue community. In addition to her role on PFSB, Kathryn is actively involved in several organizations on campus, including Sigma Kappa Sorority and the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association. She also works at University Place nursing home, where she provides care for a resident living with Alzheimer’s disease, a role that reflects her dedication to service and her future healthcare career.
Outside of her academic and extracurricular commitments, Kathryn enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her family. A lifelong Boilermaker, she is an enthusiastic supporter of Purdue athletics as a member of the Paint Crew and Ross-Ade Brigade and loves attending campus sporting events.
